Let me tell you, my sister and I went to Oishi because it was close to HEB and we were famished. We got in and asked the kind waiter a bunch of questions and had him modify the dish to our taste (to take out the mushrooms and make the curry udon not too soupy because it was hot out, that’s all). We got the cowboy roll, tempura shrimp, vegetable beef with fried rice and curry udon beef. It was a FANTASTIC meal. Everything we ordered tasted amazing, it’s very rare to find good food in CS and this meal made our day. We will be at least once a month, it’s a hidden gem and I can’t wait to try more things on the menu. You have to go!!!!!! Try what you love and don’t be afraid to ask questions if you’re overwhelmed by the number of things on the menu.

We had some food line-up here, Salmon Avocado Appetizer, Bacon Quail Yakitori, Salmon Sashimi Combo and Bento Box with Salmon + Bbq Pork... Great taste, clean place, nice vibes, good service by our server Josh. We will be back for sure.

We come here almost every Sunday for lunch! We love that they serve lunch portions with lunch prices, even on the weekends! Service here is always top notch! I don’t think we’ve ever had a server here that hasn’t gone over and beyond to make sure we’ve been take care of. The atmosphere here is wonderful; indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly — dog water bowls and everything! We really like Jay & Harry! Excellent quality sushi and great menu selection, there’s really something for everyone! Definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for this genre of Asian Fusion.

This is hands-down our favorite restaurant in BCS. The food is amazing, staff is friendly and we always leave extremely satisfied. Today we started with soups: wonton and egg-drop. If you are ever sick, we swear the wonton soup has healing power. We also got crab rangoons and pot stickers. The chicken fried rice is a consistent favorite and any lomein dish is sure to hit the spot. The sushi is phenomenal and the Ahi Tower is a must-try. We regularly choose to eat here but wanted to make sure we left a raving review. You will not be disappointed!!!

I thought I would be dining at just another sushi restaurant, but from start to finish, this establishment had me wishing that they had a location in my home town, as I was just there visiting my son in college. First off, I have read other reviews on here that leaned towards the negative, and the only conclusion I could come to is that these people are generally either not happy people, or the only food they are used to is fast food. How anyone can give this restaurant anything other than 5 stars, is beyond me. The atmosphere upon entering was pleasant and gave a very welcoming and comfortable vibe. I observed families with children as well as tables of adults only, and everyone appeared to be having an enjoyable afternoon. We were sat and attended to by, I believe her name was Tracy, and she did a magnificent job. When we ordered, she memorized our requests, when our water glasses started to head towards below “half-full”, she filled them without asking, and her general demeanor and attitude was all smiles.
